Synopsis

THE RETURN OF MISTER FUTURE After gangsters steal a deadly weapon designed by Jules Verne, Batman and Robin are sent back in time by Carter Nichols to get information on the stolen weapon from Jules Verne. With Verne's help in the future, the Dynamic Duo manage to create a counter-weapon that helps them confront the criminals and capture them. THE DESERT ISLAND BATMAN Criminals hijack a ship of millionaires, including Bruce Wayne and they take it ashore on a desert island. The ship is wrecked and the crooks hold the millionaires for ransom. Bruce becomes Batman at the risk of revealing his identity and works to capture the crooks before saving the millionaires without raising any suspicion. Eventually Robin discovers Bruce and the other millionaires' misfortune and flies to the island to aid their rescue. SECRET OF THE BATMOBILE A thief known as The Racer has been using a speedy car to outdistance the Batmobile in every encounter. Vicki Vale uncovers evidence that Batman is using a phony Batmobile, but she is unable to deduce that the fake vehicle is actually Bruce Wayne's sporting car. Batman prevents Vicki from publishing a picture of the fake Batmobile and distracts her by sending previous stories of the Batmobile to be published on the Vue Magazine. After the real Batmobile is repaired, Batman is finally able to capture The Racer.
